This position is a developmental opportunity working directly for the NAS General Manager and Deputy General Manager. The duration of this opportunity is approximately one year. Upon assignment completion, the incumbent will return to his or her original Functional Organization (i.e., Engineering, Project Management, Operations/Maintenance, etc.) for appropriate reassignment. Job Summary: The successful candidate will function as a member of the executive management team to plan, coordinate, and direct the management and administration of various activities. Specific duties may include, but are not necessarily limited to: serving as a key advisor to management on business and/or programmatic activities; leading initiatives; contributing to the strategic development of organizational objectives and the tactical planning to achieve objectives; and researching and developing processes and procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance.
Serves as key advisor to management on short-term and long-term business and/or programmatic matters for complex problems that require the frequent use of judgement and independent decision making, and where analysis of situations or data requires, an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Plans, coordinates, and directs administrative management of activities, exerts influence in the development of organizational objectives, and leads the design and implementation of business and/or strategic initiatives to achieve those objectives. Leads and participates on select committees, project teams, and special assignments.
Tracks and coordinates NAS Senior Leadership reviews of contract Innovations and Efficiencies commitments, award fee criteria, and enterprise change management initiatives. Drafts documents and briefings.
Interfaces with Air Force AEDC leadership, NAS Board of Managers, NAS Directors, Branch, and Functional Managers, NAS staff, subcontractors, and other external representatives.
Evaluates budgetary requirements, predictive metrics, and associated actions.
Maintains and shares current knowledge regarding AEDC missions, policies, practices, and critical issues to ensure effective networking, reference, consistency, and compliance.
It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
Perform other related duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems & Technology, or other related field with 5 to 7 years of progressive and relevant experience, or any combination of relevant education and progressive and relevant experience.
Current US Citizenship is required.
Advanced knowledge of and successfully demonstrated program management experience related to operations, strategic and tactical planning, and project management.
Master’s degree or other post-graduate course work.
Knowledge of TOS contract.
In-depth experience at AEDC.
