National Aerospace Solutions, LLC is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee.  AEDC operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units located in six states. Many of the complex's test units have capabilities unmatched elsewhere in the United States; some are unique in the world. AEDC is one of three installations which are part of the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), one of six subordinate commands of the Air Force Materiel Command organization, and an important national resource.

AEDC’s mission is to conduct developmental test and evaluation for the Nation through modeling, simulation, and ground and flight test.  Execution of the mission requires a large team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals from multiple technical disciplines to effectively accomplish the objectives of our test customers.

NAS currently has an exciting career opportunity available for a IS&T Material & License Coordinator to join our team at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee.

Job Duties:
  • Primary role as the material and license coordinator interfacing with individuals who support systems maintained by Information Technology and Instrumentation, Data Acquisition, and Control (ID&C) systems.
  • Reviews Information Technology related purchase requisitions for materials and services prior to release to ensure that the customer and purchasing requirements are met. Determines the method of procurement.
  • Research the types of hardware/software materials related to Information Technology and making appropriate determinations on what type of material is being purchased and what requirements are applicable.
  • Utilizes policies and procedures pertaining to Information Technology related purchasing activities.
  • Schedule self-assessments on TOS managed systems to review that the proper software tracking requirements are being performed per procedure.
  • Coordinator for AF Computer Systems Requirement Description (CSRD) automated workflow.
  • Maintains and coordinates accurate inventory of hardware and software.
  • Ensures that licensing and service agreements are tracked by the system
  • Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
  • Provide support to AEDC Customer and other contractors.
  • Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are consistently documented, maintained, evaluated and compliant for Government IT system networks including components of systems.
  • Periodically evaluates process and program effectiveness and takes action to maintain continuous improvement.
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures, and contributes to the safety of co-workers and the general public.
  • Willing and able to follow instruction, assist in training of co-workers, and cooperate with other employees, customers and contractors.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (personal protective equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree in Information Systems, or other IT related field plus 3 to 6 years of progressive and relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.
  • Current US Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and basic understanding of Information Technology systems comprised of hardware and software components
  • Experience with procurement/acquisition processes
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft SharePoint
  • Skilled in oral and written communication
  • Skilled at building and maintaining personnel and customer relationships
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Active DoD security clearance
