Job Title:  Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) Asset Coordinator

Job Duties:
  • Reviews IS&T related requisitions for materials and services prior to release to ensure that the customer and purchasing requirements are met. Determines the method of procurement.
  • Utilizes policies and procedures pertaining to IS&T related purchasing activities.
  • Maintains and coordinates accurate inventory of hardware and software.
  • Ensures that licensing and service agreements are renewed within a timely manner.
  • Ensures that requests for action or information are relayed to appropriate staff members; ensures that information is furnished in a timely manner; decides whether a higher authority should be notified of important or emergency matters.
  • Periodically evaluates process and program effectiveness and takes action to maintain continuous improvement.
  • Follows all safety rules and procedures, and contributes to the safety of co-workers and the general public.
  • Utilizes necessary software applications that include Oracle Work & Asset Management (OWAM) software and Enovia (product lifecycle management software).
  • Willing and able to follow instruction, assist in training of co-workers, and cooperate with other employees and customers.
  • Performs responsibilities in a manner that clearly shows effective communication and cooperation and that promotes open exchange of information, respect, high ethical standards and professionalism.
  • Maintains work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (personal protective equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree in related discipline plus 2 to 3 years’ experience. In lieu of degree six to eight years of IS&T Related experience.
  • One year of Asset Management or related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in department practices and procedures.
  • Intermediate to advanced use of Windows 7 or higher, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IS&T related software, hardware, networking principals.
  • Ability to solve a range of basic problems.
  • Communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Positive attitude
