Job Duties:
  • Maintain Capital Projects Data within the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Purchase materials, provide craftsmen with work packages, coordinate master work permits, make notifications and provide all necessary support to perform work.
  • Generate Outage Requests and represent Capital Projects Group at weekly outage meetings
  • Manage Capital Projects Group facility in the role of primary building manager and material/staging laydown yard manager
  • Perform planning/scheduling activities for Capital Projects activities.
  • Maintain safety awareness and ensure accessibility of safety material items and PPE for Capital Projects team members.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, service contracts and expedite delivery of materials ordered for Capital Projects.
  • Communicate and coordinate with maintenance supervisors and planner/schedulers regarding planning for upcoming Capital Projects jobs.
  • Communicate status of Capital Projects activities with requesting groups or supervisors.
  • Provide support to the Capital Projects team including development of presentations and collection of performance data in assigned areas.
  • Serve as Group Training and Travel Coordinator.
  • Maintain overtime/comp time authorizations.
  • Assists the Capital Projects Construction Manager as needed.
  • Processes procurements and tracks their status.
  • Creates work orders.
  • Perform a variety of technical and administrative functions.
  • Complete assigned actions independently.
  • Maintain and update staffing rosters.
  • Focal point in outage and test schedule coordination process.
  • Routinely communicates with Space and Missiles test ops for updates to the schedule. Informs project controls of schedule changes.
  • Makes entries, updates and performs routine data maintenance of SharePoint and electronic files.
  • Processes information system authorization access and folder permission requests.
  • Processes requests for information release.
  • Performs document control.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company PPE (personal protective equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
Basic Qualifications:
  • B.S. degree plus 8 years of progressive and relevant work experience or any combination education and experience for a total of 12 years. Additional experience must be progressive and relevant.
