National Aerospace Solutions (NAS), LLC is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force (USAF) to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment activities at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Arnold Air Force Base, in Tullahoma, Tennessee. NAS currently has an exciting opportunity available for a Prime Contract Administrator to join our team in Tullahoma, TN.

Location: Arnold Air Force Base, Tullahoma, TN
 

 
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will provide support and guidance to the project management team in the effective administration of the prime contract between NAS and the Air Force.  Assist with the identification of the contract baseline, including terms and conditions, performance work statement, contract data requirements list, and other documents incorporated in the contract.  Process prime contract modifications; issue authority to proceed (ATP) notifications to the project team; perform research in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), applicable supplements, and regulatory guidance; track contract deliverables; monitor award fee performance; and support proposal preparation and negotiations with the Air Force.  Support the use of common work processes and procedures within assigned function across the TOS contract.
 
Job Duties:
  • Perform and assist with various tasks as needed to support contract compliance or performance in conjunction with other departments.
  • Assist the Deputy General Manager with the management of associate contractor agreements.
  • Participate in project programs such as risk and program management.
  • Manage formal correspondence between NAS and the Air Force.
  • Perform and assist with various tasks as needed to support contract compliance or performance in conjunction with other departments.
  • It is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
 Basic Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Cost Engineering, or Law or related field with a minimum of 2 - 3 years of related experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Skilled in oral and written communications.
 Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and courses in contract law, administration and negotiation of change orders, effective correspondence, and prime contract or acquisition administration.
  • Working knowledge of Air Force practices, policies, procedures and work practices.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations, and applicable Agency Supplements.
  • Understanding of Government Contracts and the flow-down of applicable clauses and requirements.
