SUMMER 2018 INTERN OPPORTUNITIES - Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering

The NAS Internship Program is an opportunity for students to work with engineers and scientists involved in testing hypersonics, space simulation, rockets, propulsion systems, laboratory and test operations, modeling and simulation, space environments, hypervelocity Aerodynamic/Aero-Thermal/Aero-Optics, and scientific research.
Intern assignments will be for 10-12 weeks during the Summer 2018.
Preference will be given to students who will have attained at least junior status (60 credit hours) by May 2018 towards a B.S. in either Aeronautical, Aerospace, Astronautical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited engineering college/university. Graduate students within these listed disciplines are also welcome to apply.
Coursework may include core engineering and sciences along with Aeronautical, Aerospace, Astronautical or Mechanical engineering courses. Basic English skills in oral and written communication are required.
Requirements include:
  • Must be pursuing a degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Astronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least junior status (60 credit hours) by May 2018 towards a B.S. in the above listed disciplines. Graduate students are also welcome to apply.
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75.
  • Students from any university with an accredited engineering program are encouraged to apply.
